Sharing Plates

I am delighted to present our new “Sharing Plate” menu items. As a restaurant owner I dine out often and always want to try new dishes. Having to commit to a single entrée does not allow one to try the numerous offerings of a restaurant’s cuisine. That is the genesis of these new menu items. Think of them as half sized entrees, designed to be shared with others. I recommend ordering two “Sharing Plates” per person, or four for two people, ect. As time goes on, we plan to increase the number of Sharing Plates on the menu. After trying these new items, please let me or your server know what you think.

Tuna Tartar Martini $10
Sushi grade Ahi Tuna is chopped and tossed in an Asian marinade. Served atop edamame

Bayou Fish Tacos $7
Grilled soft cornmeal tortillas stuffed with fried Delta catfish, topped with a plum tomato, caper, red onion, relish and a spicy roasted vegetable sauce.

A blend of Alligator tail meat, seasonings, and pork rolled into mini meatballs, then simmered in a fiery sauce piquant

We cook the roux until it’s chestnut brown, add our own spice blend, onions and peppers and give you a sauce to “smother yer yaya!!”then stir in tender and sweet crawfish tail meat. Served over long grain rice

Shrimp Creole $16
We take the freshest onions, peppers & tomatoes and cook them with delicate herbs & our own spice blend to make the traditional sauce of N’awlins, then stirr in Gulf Shrimp until they are tender. Served over long grain rice

Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya $14
The classic N’awlins rice dish. Boneless chunks of chicken, sliced Cajun Andouille sausage, and Tasso ham are simmered with rice, tomatoes, vegetables, and a special blend of seasonings. Served over Creole sauce

Ask you server for today’s selections. Our Chef selects the freshest fish daily which can be prepared Grilled, Blackened, Bronzed, or Bourbon Glazed. Served with Fresh Vegetable du Jour or creamed spinach and choice of Long Grain Rice, Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya or mashed potatoes.

Whole Crispy Snapper $26
A whole Red Snapper is lightly battered with spices and deep fried till crispy. Presented on a bed of long grain rice, the fish is covered in our savory etouffee sauce and nestled around a serving of ratatouille
